Age range for children's furniture(Grow with me)
  1. For the regular table and chair set, it is recommended for children under 6 years old (approximately below 120cm in height). For the extended table and chair set, it is recommended for children before the primary 3 (approximately below 140cm in height).
  2. The chair should ideally allow the child's feet to touch the ground and sit comfortably on their own. However, every child has different body proportions, such as varying leg length or body length. It is recommended to adjust the furniture according to the child's actual usage condition.
  3. The multi-purpose step stool can be used independently by children aged 2 and above, but for children under 2 years old and parental supervision is required.
  4. The Explorista chair is adjustable and suitable for students from primary school to doctoral level. It is recommended for a height of 120cm or above. The height adjustment can be referred to in the diagram provided, and it should be adjusted based on the child's actual condition.
 
Are there any desks and chairs that can be used both before and after starting school?
Generally, furniture designed for children under the age of five is more suitable for them. In terms of height and size, it will better accommodate their body proportions and help establish a sense of safety and belonging. For preschool-aged children, the focus is on establishing daily routines and fostering independent learning habits. With parental guidance, these habits can be naturally developed and greatly assist in the establishment of routines for children. Desks and chairs for primary school-aged children, on the other hand, emphasize storage and workspace. As children spend more time studying and reading at their desks as they progress through primary school, secondary school, junior college, and even university to adulthood, the versatility of the desk becomes increasingly important. It is for this reason that we have divided our products into two types to cater to different needs.
 
The recommended age for Grow with me furniture is as follows:
For the regular style Grow with me desk and chair set, it is recommended for children before school age (6 years old or below 120cm). For the extended version of Grow with me desk and chair set, it is recommended for children before primary 3 (below 140cm).   1. Size and Weight: The Animal-shaped Children Height Adjustable Chair is wider and heavier compared to the Grow-with-me Toddler Height Adjustment Chair.
  2. Height Adjustment: The Grow-with-me Toddler Height Adjustment Chair has 4 adjustable heights, while the Animal-shaped Children Height Adjustable Chair has 5 adjustable heights.
  3. If your child is younger or smaller in size, the lowest height of 19 cm in the Grow-with-me Toddler Height Adjustment Chair allows their feet to rest comfortably on the ground, providing a sense of security.
  4. If parents also plan to use the chair for reading or sitting alongside their child, the Animal-shaped Children Height Adjustable Chair is designed to be larger and wider. When adjusted to the highest height, the chair can be used as a stool when the seat of the chair and the leg of the chair is adjusted to the same level. It provides a more relaxed seating experience for adults.
 
Place of origin

Our products are made of imported rubber wood from Thailand and processed in our own factory in China. We use EPnS Water-Based Wood Coating, which is manufactured in Taiwan. (Please refer to the various inspection reports for more details.)
 
Cleaning and disinfecting the table and chairs
  1. You can use a damp cloth for wiping. It can be paired with wood oil, diluted bleach water, or hypochlorous acid water. However, it is strictly prohibited to use alcohol as it may damage the protective coating of the water-based paint on the surface.
  2. If the furniture surface is marked with water-based pens, you can remove them with water. For stubborn stains that cannot be removed with water, consider using a specialized wood cleaner or our wood care solution.
  3. It is recommended to choose water-based products when providing your child with writing tools. Not only are they safer, but they also reduce cleaning troubles later on. You can also start by using silicone pads or desk mats to keep the tabletop clean. There are many options available in the market, or you can choose to purchase desk mats as an add-on when ordering from our official website.
  4. If there are oil-based pen marks that are difficult to clean, you can consider waiting until your child creates more vibrant drawings, and then you can send the furniture back to HA Furniture for free refurbishment (shipping costs at your own expense).
 
To adjust the height of the toddler furniture correctly
Follow these steps:
  1. Sit upright: Ensure that the child's body is not tilted, and their buttocks are fully seated on the chair. The angle between the body and thighs should be approximately 90-95 degrees. A cushion or backrest can be used for support if needed.
  2. Confirm comfortable flat feet placement: It is important that both feet can rest comfortably on the ground, providing stability and preventing fatigue.
  3. Maintain a distance of about one fist between the body and the table: When placing both hands on the table, the elbows should naturally bend at an angle of approximately 100-105 degrees. This indicates a suitable table height.

Instructions for using wood oil for maintenance
Instructions for using wood oil for maintenance:
1.Shake the maintenance solution well and spray it directly onto the solid wood furniture. Then, gently wipe it with a dry cloth.
2.It is recommended to use the wood oil at least once a month.
Precautions:
1.Do not swallow. If ingested, seek medical attention and bring the product to the clinic. If it comes into contact with your eyes, rinse with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention promptly.
2.Keep the product in a cool place out of children's reach, away from direct sunlight.
 
Does heavy moisture in the home make it suitable to use solid wood furniture?
Our furniture is coated with EPnS environmentally friendly water-based wood paint, which provides a certain level of protection against moisture and has anti-mold and antibacterial effects. As long as the furniture is kept dry after use, it will not have a significant impact on the wood itself. However, if the home environment is excessively humid, even with good protection, it may lose its effectiveness. We have encountered two cases where consumers had a relatively humid home environment and experienced mold on the table and chair legs due to heavy rain or humidity. In such cases, we recommend that they return the products to us so that we can assist in cleaning the affected areas and reapply the paint. Consumers also choose to place the table and chairs in drier areas of their homes. You can assess whether our wooden products are suitable for use based on the actual environment and conditions in your home.
 
Grow with me load test
We have conducted weight capacity tests on our toddler growth chairs and animal companion chairs, and they can withstand loads of up to 100 kilograms and 120 kilograms respectively. To refer to the inspection report . As for the weight capacity test for the table, since the tabletop is primarily used for children to play with toys and write, it is not typically meant for sitting. Therefore, specific weight capacity testing has not been conducted. However, based on customer feedback, as long as the table is securely locked and stable, the tabletop can support the weight of a child without any issues.
 
Can the footstool be used in the bathroom?
Our EPnS Water-Based Wood Coating on the surface provides a certain level of protection, and many parents do use the footstool in the bathroom. However, the bathroom environment can be more humid. If it comes into contact with water, make sure to dry it off promptly. This is the key to long-lasting use.

Is there delivery available to overseas regions (excluding the United States)?
  1. If overseas buyers wish to purchase our products, please send us a private message on the Huan An Furniture Facebook fan page, indicating the items you wish to purchase. We will assist you in checking the overseas shipping fees for reference, and you can decide whether to proceed with the purchase.
  2. For international delivery of children's furniture, we use postal EMS services, and the shipping fees will be paid by the buyer. However, since we cannot control the delivery process of overseas postal services, we recommend inquiring with local branches if they provide delivery services.
  3. For overseas orders arranged by proxy, a separate payment store will be opened, including the shipping fees (credit card payments accepted).
  4. When purchasing from overseas regions, we declare the actual value of the goods. If any customs duties are incurred during the shipping process to the designated country, the recipient will be responsible for covering those costs.
  5. For children's furniture shipped abroad by our company, our quality control personnel will inspect and assemble the items before shipment, and we will provide photos for confirmation. The process takes approximately 3-7 business days (excluding holidays).
  6. If you choose to ship the purchased items abroad on your own, please inform us in advance. Before shipment, our quality control personnel will inspect and assemble the items. We recommend unpacking and checking the items upon receipt to ensure there are no issues before taking them abroad.
  7. While we conduct inspections prior to shipment, please note that furniture is a large-sized item, and there is a possibility of damage during transportation. Our warranty and repair services are limited to Taiwan Island only. If you choose to send the items back to Taiwan on your own, you will still be eligible for lifelong warranty coverage.
  8. Upon receiving the goods overseas, if you encounter any issues, please take photos and inform us. We will handle the repair process upon your return to Taiwan or you can request assistance from your friends or family in Taiwan.
 
Delivery methods for products
The product's delivery method varies depending on the type. For furniture sets, we provide home installation service, where our delivery team will schedule and arrange the delivery according to the driver's route. As for our children's series, they are primarily shipped via regular courier service.
 
How is the shipping fee calculated?
Free shipping for online purchases over a thousand dollars. If you need to send it back to us for repair or refurbishment, the shipping fee will be calculated based on the actual cost.
 
Can I have different shipping addresses for the same order?
Unless otherwise specified, it is not possible to have different shipping addresses for the same order. We recommend placing separate orders for different addresses.

Will the delivery service bring the items upstairs?
For products that do not include in-home installation, such as the children's series or just-right series, the logistics company will only deliver to the building's management office or the ground floor of an apartment complex. Delivery to upper floors is not available. Please take note of the weight and quantity of the items before making a purchase and make arrangements for assistance with lifting and carrying as needed.
 
Defect Standards
  1. The product should be free from any defects or damages caused by usage or intentional external forces.
  2. Damages or missing accessories caused during transportation of the product.
    Note: As online purchases involve inspecting the packaging upon delivery, we kindly request that you open and inspect the product within seven days of receiving it. If there are any damages, missing accessories, or product defects caused by transportation, please provide photos to our customer service email at hawoodtw@gmail.com. We will arrange for a free replacement or send you the missing accessories.
  3. The following situations are not considered as defects:
    1. Natural wood grain and knots: These are natural characteristics of solid wood, just like the unique spots on a person's face or body. They add to the charm of solid wood and do not affect its functionality. Therefore, we are unable to provide return or exchange services for these natural features.
    2. Wood filling/patches: During the drying process of solid wood, cracks may occur. These cracks are filled, polished, and painted. The appearance of cracks is a natural phenomenon and adds to the uniqueness of each product.
    3. However, if you are unsatisfied with the filling marks on your received product, we are also open to your request for exchange. In such cases, we will take photos of the replacement product before shipping it to you for your confirmation. Please note that you will be responsible for the round-trip shipping costs for the exchange due to this reason.
    4. Color variation in solid wood boards: It is normal for high-quality solid wood to have color variations. As a natural material, even wood from the same tree can have color differences between its sun-facing side and shaded side. This is an inherent and normal characteristic of natural wood, and we are unable to provide any return or exchange services for this reason.
 
What situations are not eligible for return or exchange?
Within one year, the following circumstances may lead to product damage that is not covered under warranty. However, you can provide us with photos for a rough estimation of the cost, and then decide whether you are willing to pay for the round-trip shipping fees for repair.
  1. Damage caused by using alcohol or corrosive cleaning agents that result in surface or wood damage.
  2. Improper placement leading to water immersion, corrosion, dropping, squeezing, exposure to abnormal temperatures or humidity, causing wood deformation or mold.
  3. Damage and destruction caused by external forces, natural disasters, or human factors.
  4. Damage caused by improper use, self-modification, incorrect installation, incomplete installation, or installation of products not provided by our company.
  5. Other circumstances not attributable to our company that render repair impossible.
  6. Please note that HAWOOD Furniture reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions.
 
Incorrect Product Delivery Handling Method
If you receive a package with incorrect items, please follow the steps below for assistance:
  1. Within two days of receiving the package, please email photos of the incorrectly shipped items to our customer service email at hawoodtw@gmail.com or directly send a private message to our customer service personnel on the HAWOOD Furniture Facebook fan page.
  2. In your email or message, please include the following information:
    Purchase platform / Name / Contact phone number / Product name / Description and photos of the incorrectly shipped items.
  3. Once our customer service personnel have confirmed the error, please keep the original packaging and accessories of the items and wait for the delivery personnel to pick them up. We will arrange for the necessary follow-up actions promptly.

【Toddler Height Adjustment Chair】 My drawer is a bit tight and difficult to open.
For the drawer part, we use solid wood slides instead of metal ones. They may not be as smooth as metal slides because we want to avoid the risk of children accidentally getting their hands caught when the drawer slides too fast. However, under normal circumstances, adults should be able to easily open and close the drawer with a single finger. If your drawer is too tight, cannot be closed, or cannot be pulled, please check the following:
  1. Check if the table leg screws were tightened too much during assembly, as this may affect the opening and closing of the drawer. Please try loosening them slightly and testing them again.
  2. Inspect the drawer slides (see attached image) to see if there is any misalignment or breakage, as this can also affect the drawer's operation.
  3. This is a less common situation, but some consumers may use screws from other parts of the desk, such as chair leg screws, during assembly. This can cause damage to the drawer and lock it.

For a single side of the table leg, there should be 4 screws to lock it. Please check if you have tightened some of the screws already. Since this is a DIY product, the factory intentionally leaves slightly larger spaces for each hole during production. This is to prevent issues of misalignment or inability to lock properly due to different installation techniques or lack of familiarity. If you have already tightened the screws, please refer to the attached image or the Q&A section in the packaging (bottom left). Loosen the screws first, place all 4 screws into their respective holes, and then begin tightening. When tightening, please lock them in diagonally and evenly.
 
【Children Adjustment Desk】 The table is unstable and wobbles after assembly.
As the Children Adjustment Desk is a DIY product, the factory intentionally leaves slightly larger spaces for each hole during production. This is to prevent customers from encountering issues of misalignment or inability to lock properly due to different installation techniques or lack of familiarity.
We kindly ask you to first loosen all the screws. Then, loosely fasten the 4 screws that need to secure the table legs without fully tightening them. Afterward, press down on the table surface firmly on a flat surface (or tabletop) and then tighten the screws. You can refer to our assembly video at the following link (https://goo.gl/8Tczgi), specifically around the 2:00 mark, or check the image below or the Q&A section on the top right of the packaging for instructions on addressing the wobbling issue. If the problem persists, please contact our customer service for further assistance.

【Toddler Height Adjustment Chair/Animal-Shaped Children Height Adjustable Chair】 The screws are spinning freely and cannot be inserted.
Each hex screw has a corresponding nut. Since the nut itself is movable and cannot be permanently fixed, it may have fallen off or shifted during transportation. Please check if the nut is in the correct orientation as shown in the attached image. If it has shifted (shown below the image), the hole position will be misaligned, and the screw won't be able to lock in properly. You can use a flathead screwdriver or a blade-like tool to adjust the position. If the screw easily drops into the screw hole without resistance, it may indicate that the nut has fallen off. You can check if there are any spare nuts in the package and reinstall them.
  1. For the Toddler Height Adjustment Chair, the nut positions are on the two horizontal bars.
  2. For the Animal-Shaped Children Height Adjustable Chair, you need to flip it over to see the nut positions below.

When manual tools are difficult to use during assembly, it is recommended to use a power tool to lock it in place. During locking, it may appear slightly crooked, but this is normal. You can confidently lock it in without any issues.
Below is a photo showing the correct depth for screw insertion for your reference.
**Assembly Tip: When using a power tool, please make sure to gradually apply force during assembly. Power tools have greater force, and excessive force can cause damage.
 
Request for hardware set.
Please contact our customer service department for further assistance. If you are missing only 1-2 pieces of hardware, we can send them to you and you will only need to cover the postage fee. However, if you are missing a larger quantity of hardware, we recommend purchasing our hardware accessory pack, which costs SGD2 per pack plus a shipping fee of SGD1.50.
 
Do not have a hex key
If the hex key for the table and chair set is missing, you can purchase one at a nearby hardware store. The size of the hex key used for the table and chair set is "4mm internal hex key."
